How Much?Always the first question and for many the most important. There are quite a few factors that are going to affect the ultimate cost of your web site. These factors include how many pages you are going to have, if you will sell products on your website, the graphic work involved, and how interactive your future web site will be.
Why do I need a website?Approximately 148 million people worldwide have access to the World Wide Web. No matter what your business, you can't ignore 148 million people. To be a part of that community and show that you are interested in serving them, you need to be on the Web for them. You know your competitors will.
Will you make me the first website on Google?Probably not but I will try to get it as high as possible! Firstly, I would suggest that you publicise the URL yourself: include it on letterheads, stationery, business cards, brochures and traditional advertising and don't forget to tell your Clients and Customers! Secondly, I can promote your web site on the Internet itself. There is more to the process than meets the eye and it is an ongoing process. As a standard practice I will submit your website to around 150 search engines, increasing your sites search rating but unfortunately doesn't guarantee your site being on the first page of a search. There are thousands of search engines, news groups, banner advertising firms, link exchanges and the like, most of which will not be appropriate for your business. There are companies guaranteeing your web site's positioning in the top ten listings on the major search engines. I do not: your site's listing is quite frankly a matter for those search engines and no-one can provide an absolute guarantee about the placement of your site in the rankings as it will vary from day to day and from search engine to search engine. |
